"Play on Playa"

This posting is difficult to write but it is something that needs to be said. In our lives as believers, even Apostolic believers, we can reach a place of contentment with how our life is going. We do the things we are supposed to do without putting in the effort that we are supposed to. We go through the motions of prayer and church attendance. We quickly read from the Word without allowing it to speak to us. We play the game and our enemy is sitting there laughing at us.

The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:8 that the adversary (the devil) is roaming around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He doesn't care how long it takes, whether it's a day or years, as long as he can stop you from being sincere and obedient in your daily walk with Christ, he's winning the battle.

We play games with God and the devil is sitting back with a smirk on his face saying "play on playa, the game has just begun." But James 4:7 tells us to submit ourselves to God, to resist the devil and he will flee from you. It's time Apostolic believers for you to tell the devil game over.
